This group collaboration acts as a visual representation of the shared persona adopted by the participants of I AM JOHN DOGSFIELD for the run up to, and the duration of, the show. Each artist took a plaster (or clay) cast of a face and inserted something into the mouth. Some chose to directly relate ‘their face’ to their work in the exhibition by inserting elements of the work into the mouths, whilst others made a more general link to their practice as a whole. It's placement in the front room with the floorplans and the bar provided a hint of the work throughout the rest of the building.
